Folk Mittens

When you knit from the Fair Isle chart, remember that each square represents one stitch. Carry yarn loosely across the back when changing colors on a knit row. To help you keep your place on the chart, use a magnetic board or a piece of sticky note paper to mark the row you're working. The key to organizing your yarn, is to keep one ball on your right side, and the other color on your left side. You should hold the main color in which ever hand you feel the most comfortable.

All patterns will be sent to you as a PDF file in a email, after purchase.

Beata Folk Mitten                            $5.00

Beata is a Scandinavian name that means Blessed. I used a self striping yarn for the contrasting yarn in this pattern, and I love the effect of the self striping yarn, on the look of the Fair Isle. The black main color makes the contrasting color Pop!! This mitten measures 9 inches long, and is 7 1/2 inches around. It is knit with worsted weight wool, on size 2 1/2 needles. This mitten is sure to keep your fingers toasty warm in the winter!!
